About
I have been passionate about physical fitness since I took my first exercise class 30+ years ago. This passion has since drove me to live an overall healthy lifestyle and has stemmed into supporting my family and friends through self improvement.
I was first introduced to SUP in September 2013 when my family took an introductory course on Lake Superior. I was hooked immediately and purchased my first paddle board—an inflatable model for easy travel. I took it with me on a trip to Hawaii that winter and tried SUP Yoga, again falling instantly in love with this unique practice. Unable to find SUP Yoga in the northwest suburbs of Minnesota, I began my journey. I have completed a business class, a 200 Hour Yoga Certification, SUP Instructor & Accredited SUP Yoga Instructor courses, Sculpt Yoga Instructor training & a Bring Your Baby to Yoga course. I've now purchased numerous boards, built a trailer for transport, and am excited to share SUP and Yoga with my community!
“Pura” stands not only for water but is also an expression for leading a full, meaningful, wonderful life. My goal for Pura Paddle is to share ‘Living a Full Life’ with as many people as possible. Hopefully that will mean sharing friendship, Yoga, paddleboarding, and SUP Yoga with you.
